Steal this idea … please!

Steal this idea? Why would anybody want someone to steal the dream that haunted them their whole adult life? Raccoon with flashlight and sack steal

Because the dream is not for me, I don’t have a desire to run the place. I’m not a boss or entrepreneur, and I don’t see this idea as a way to fame or fortune (nor am I primarily motivated by a desire for fame and fortune).  I simply love the idea of such a place being real. I only want to be a part of it.

There are several ways you could steal this idea…

I’d love to see variations of the Haven for Dreamers and the Fantasy Heroes Training Center popping up in cities all over the country. Children’s museums might fix up areas using some of the ideas. Now that the Maker Movement is growing, Maker Spaces could include something similar in their own style. It’s also something homeschooling organizations might be interested in.

The Fantasy Heroes Training Center is largely inspired by the Danger Room in Marvel Comics, so l can see where they might want to try commercializing and franchising that, especially now that obstacle courses such as Ninja Warrior, Warrior Race, and Spartan Race are popular. People involved in those might be interested in having an indoor/year-’round version.

There are large entertainment and theme park companies that could jump right to the Musement Park; perhaps even some wealthy individuals could get started on it. I’d like to know if someone thought it could be done profitably.  Just don’t slap the name on a theme park that is little different from all the others.

As I said, I just want to be a part of it. I’m here for sharing more ideas, there will be more posts with neat things to be part of the dream. If someone would start a place and hire me to work in it, I would love to be a sort of figurehead or mascot, playing a role like Willy Wonka or Mr. Magorium, the slightly daft or eccentric guide to a strange and wonderful world…

I was born in 1960, raised in a family of fundamentalist Christians (I accepted Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior as a child). A bookworm, dreamer, and nerd, I loved my faith and also science, fantasy, imagination, creativity — I could never settle on who I was and what I wanted to do, and never seemed to fit in anywhere. The Musement Park is meant to be as close as possible to a theme park on the planet I seemed to come from.
